Grace technologies ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH MAPLE STUDIOS TO LAUNCH STARTUP STUDIO
DAVENPORT, IA – Grace Technologies, a global leader in innovative electrical safety products and predictive maintenance solutions, today announced a strategic collaboration with Maple Studios, a renowned startup studio offering fractional executive support and workspace to entrepreneurs.
Building on Maple Studios' success in industrial technology startup support, the collaboration will establish an extension of the startup studio within Grace’s facility in the Quad Cities area. This move exemplifies Grace's commitment to fostering innovation and supporting early-stage companies in engineering, industrial technology, robotics, advanced manufacturing, data collection, machine learning/AI, and more.
"We are inspired by the successful model Maple Studios and Ramco Innovations have created,” said Drew Allen, President & CEO of Grace Technologies. “Having an idea is one thing, but making it happen is another. We are bringing this concept to the Quad Cities because we believe in the brilliant ideas and people here. This partnership will have a significant social economic impact on the Quad Cities by offering a platform to help emerging entrepreneurs fast-track their development. The QC needs additional help for early-stage companies for talent, capital, and resources, and this strategic collaboration aligns perfectly with our dedication to fostering innovation and driving progress."
Incorporating the Maple Studios concept within Grace’s operations will enable members to benefit from Grace's expansive roster of professionals, covering sales, accounting, marketing, engineering, production, and manufacturing sectors. Additionally, startups will gain access to critical resources such as office space, conference rooms, prototyping laboratory, product warehousing, and other value-added amenities.
By partnering with Maple Studios, Grace seeks to extend the success of Ramco Innovations, the leading national factory automation specialist that initiated the Maple Studios model. Grace has carved out a dedicated space within its existing infrastructure to accommodate Maple Studios' operations, mirroring Ramco's strategy.
Ramco CEO, Hank Norem, and Director of Maple Studios, Megan Brandt, shared the following statement: "We are thrilled to announce the opening of a second Maple Studios location within the dynamic facility of Grace Technologies in the Quad Cities. Phil and Drew Allen are proven, successful leaders in a great location to help entrepreneurs. The convergence of our proven startup studio model with their visionary leadership will ignite a new era of collaboration that will help the continued growth of advanced technology in eastern Iowa."
The new studio within Grace Technologies is set to commence operations after Labor Day in September 2023, welcoming startups from across the spectrum of technology and industrial sectors.
