Who Works at Maple Studios?
The ideal member profile for Maple Studios includes:
Full-Time Founder or team member
Developing software for the manufacturing industry or a physical product suitable for manufacturing (Many physical products also have a digital aspect.)
Product or solution in the concept phase, prototyping phase, initial commercial pilot, or already in the market
Expertise in areas such as sensors, industrial lighting, robotics, machine safety, factory automation components, inspection devices, industrial networking & communication, and electrical engineering.
Must live in close vicinity to the offices in Iowa for maximum benefit from the facilities and resources provided.
What’s Included for all members
Conference Rooms
All members of Maple Studios are given access to multiple conference rooms for meetings bookable through our space management software and Google Calendar.
Event space
Sitting on the campus of Ramco Innovations and Maple Studios is a large event space / training center outfitted with AV, tables, chairs, and two overhead garage doors that is bookable for events of various sizes and needs.
Startup Programming
Members will have structured opportunities to collaborate with fellow members, attend Maple Studios-only programming, and first look at community programming for entrepreneurs.
Parking
We benefit from working in the industrial Valley Junction neighborhood offering plenty of free parking, and also our own, free parking lot across the street.
Mail services, Printing & Wi-Fi
Set up your business mail services to come to Maple Studios. All members get access to high speed Wi-Fi and a printer.
Media Room
Members can reserve a sound-resistant room specifically for hosting demos and webinars.

Dedicated desk - 5’x3’
Choose your own desk in the open work space to make home. If you have multiple team members, we’ll do our best to group you together.

Dedicated Work bench cell
Choose your own work bench plus shelving bins in the Maple warehouse space to call home.
The space is 8’ wide by 7’ deep, includes a workbench, and two cabinet shelves.
Price: $500 / month
Private office - 9’x12’ and 11’x16’
Choose your own, large private office lining the walls of the open workspace to call your home.
Your office comes furnished with a sit-stand desk, filing cabinets, chair, garbage bin, a table, and a keypad lock.
Price: $700 / month and $1000 / month
Private Maker lab - 9’x12’
Choose your own private maker lab in the warehouse of Maple Studios. Bring in your own tools and work privately with the ability to close your door.
Your private lab comes furnished with storage bins, a workbench, power, and a keypad lock.
